Check out the original now: Little Britain USA – Critics Round Up Of Mixed Reviews! enjoy :)

<a href="http://www.thehumorblog.com/usa/"title="USA" target="_blank">Little Britain USA aired for the first time last night on US television, and it comes to the UK soon. But critics views have been mixed, some love it and some have panned the show calling it “crude” and “low brow”. Brian Lowry from Variety magazine even said “the wit level of these over-the-top interludes seldom rises above what’s scrawled on a middle-school bathroom wall”.

Here is a round up of what the critics have said about Little Britain USA.

Redeyechicago gave a positive review saying “Little Britain humor not lost in USA translation”. They concluded by saying:

The side-splitting sketches—juvenile deliquent Vicky Pollard included—outweigh the stinkers.

USAtoday says “HBO’s Little Britain USA lends us lots of laughs” with the opening line of their report saying “Thank goodness for the naughty Brits”. TVGuide also gave the show a good review rating it 9/10 and saying “Worth the price of admission? And then some”.

However not all the reviews where good!

The LATimes thinks the show goes too far and said

The British sketch comedy series, which began a descent into lowbrow humour before crossing the pond, continues on its unfortunate arc.

Time took it even further saying “this version leaves me cold much like the original does” – the reporter clearly not a fan then.

Our Thoughts
We are already massive fans of Little Britain, so yep we love this to! When I watch it I laugh very hard and for ages, thats a good measure that I love it. This show may not be ‘safe and politically correct’ but I think that is a very good thing in the modern era and love watching programs like Little Britain (oh yeah and Family Guy) until my sides hurt!

Enjoy the rest of the 6-part series everyone!

Personal opinion of the show

This article was first published online at thehumorblog.com, a very funny website worth visiting! Check out the original now: End Of Peep Show Series 5 – Viewers Review enjoy :)

I wasn’t a big fan of Peep Show in the early days, I tried to watch the first couple of series but never really found it funny. Mark and Jez just annoyed me rather than made me laugh! This all changed in the 4th series when I managed to watch most the episodes and really liked it, and now the 5th series has just finished and I thought it was even better!

Peep Show is a truly unique comedy show. The POV production style helps you understand and relate more to the characters. The mix of the thoughts in their head and the expressions on their faces make for a properly funny program. The storylines are brilliant, and the phrases the writers wrap around the storylines have you laughing out loud throughout the episodes.

“It was old style paedoing, before it got such a bad name” Mark - Episode 4

Every episode there are several quotes which will have you laughing for ages. The great thing is they don’t use catchphrases like other popular comedy shows, catchphrases can get boring but Peep Show can’t suffer from this because the writers are able to continually come up with great lines.

Overall I loved Series 5 and am looking forward to series 6 which has been confirmed by Channel 4, Peep Show is definitely “Back In The Game” – Jez, not that it ever really left! I rate Series 5 of Peep Show a very good 8/10.
